Refurbishing sheets (limited availability online)Refurbishing sheets offer advice on how to refurbish specific tools. Tool Sorting Sheets (currently unavailable online)Tools sorting sheets offer advice on how to select tools for refurbishing. They are usually 1 A4 size sheet. Standard Tool KitStandard tool kits are lists of tools that are sent in each type of kit. For example all the tools sent in a standard carpentry kit are listed. They are one A4 size sheet
Sewing Machine ManualThe Sewing Machine Manual is a modular manual designed to help in refurbishing sewing machines. New modules will be added as they are completed. We recommend you start off by reading the whole of Section 1. You can then dip into other modules for further information as required. Tools We NeedWe send a wide range of tools to our partners in Africa but there are certain tools we don’t send. Tools We Need provides further details. You Can Help UsThe You Can Help Us slip outlines ways to help Tools for Self Reliance and includes examples of the tools we need. It prints out as 3 slips on an A4 sheet (double sided).

Country Strategies(currently being updated and not yet available) Ghana In Our Own WordsIn Our Own Words is a series of reports written by people in Africa who have received assistance from Tools for Self Reliance and by volunteer groups across the UK. They are designed to be printed double sided on A3 paper.
Focus on UgandaThe following two documents come to us from our partners Ugandan Rural Development and Training (URDT). The first is a report written by two partners who spent two months in the UK training to refurbish tools, and the second is a training needs assessment giving some insight into the process of selecting beneficiaries of tools and training in Uganda.
